Smith & Bresson Club - I was inspired to create the Smith & Bresson Club for photography by the Pope and Young Club, which is for bowhunters. There are certain requirements, which a bow kill needs to satisfy in order to qualify for acceptance in the Pope and Young Club. The criteria to be accepted in the Smith & Bresson club will be based on my own subjective view of my work, which I will score. In short, those photographs that are part of this club will be my best work and those pieces, which would be part of an exhibition. Any photos that meet this criteria, will be marked by a small skull icon. 2015 Hunting Season.   I was lucky enough to kill this mature whitetail buck that grosses just under 140 Pope & Young inches, however, this was a bittersweet season.  I also killed a whitetail doe two weeks earlier, so with both of these animals, I have plenty of venison for the year. Unfortunately, I missed three other does after killing the first two deer because I had not been practicing shooting as the season was progressing.  When using a recurve bow or longbow to hunt, one must continuously practice shooting to maintain muscle memory to consistently hit your mark.  I missed the three deer that were standing from five to twelve yards away.  Hopefully that won't happen in 2016.

I shoot a Bear Kodiak Magnum bow at 50 lbs.  My arrows are GrizzlyStik Momentum 450.  My broadheads are Ashby 315 grain heads.
