DOMINATE BUCK   The alpha whitetail buck in an area controls and marks the territory with scrapes and rubs and will be the main breeder of does for the following year's fawns.  The dominant buck will proudly defend it's property with massive antlers and a massively thickened neck, due to the high levels of testosterone secreted during the rutting season.

Kristoforos was a little mutt/terrier mix dog that had his little territory marked off, at the crossroads of a village.  He would daily sit on his 'throne' with a majestic mystic, ready to defend his little plot.  Unfortunately, he has died but has left us with many memories as a 'dominant whitetail buck'.
