Smith & Bresson Club
Smith & Bresson Club - I was inspired to create the Smith & Bresson Club for photography by the Pope and Young Club, which is for bowhunters. There are certain requirements, which a bow kill needs to satisfy in order to qualify for acceptance in the Pope and Young Club. The criteria to be accepted in the Smith & Bresson club will be based on my own subjective view of my work, which I will score. In short, those photographs that are part of this club will be my best work and those pieces, which would be part of an exhibition. Any photos that meet this criteria, will be marked by a small skull icon. Late in March 2020, New York State was 'shut down' in a sense, to ensure our health care facilities do not become overwhelmed by the Wuhan virus which infected the United States by reckless actions of the Chinese socialist government. What was suppose to be a temporary lock down is still in affect today as this photograph and statement is posted. The emptiness of streets and neighborhoods is what I experienced while trekking through the city of Rochester, NY where I reside.
I will be posting photographs entitled 'Wuhan Virus' as an expose of the day in which I went out hunting for photographs to document this pseudo-quarantine.
